Dunstanburgh Castle After the Storm - Original Painting
After a Spring storm, the sea at Low Newton, looking towards Dunstanburgh Castle remained an angry, restless mass of white topped waves. The contrasting soft pastel coloured sky was reflected by the dark waves, creating an unexpected, almost oily looking surface.
This painting was created using Artist's acrylic paints on a canvasboard.
The painted image is 30 by 40 cm. It is ready to hang and framed in a bespoke "double" frame, making the the outer dimensions of the framed work 45 by 55.5 cm.
