Snowdrops are the optimistic heralds of the beginning of Spring. It seems almost impossible that these apparently delicate little flowers can withstand the ice, snow and wind to push their way through the twigs and leaves of the forest floor. Yet every year they carpet woods, gardens and wild places.
This painting was created using Artist's acrylic paints on a 30 cm square "box canvas" which is 3.5 cm deep. It has been painted on all sides, and signed with my LT monogram, then finished with two layers of UVA protective matt varnish to protect against long term light and mechanical damage.
