The Northumberland coast is studded with tiny sandy coves and amazing rock formations- which can be enjoyed by walking The Northumbrian Coastal Path. One of the stand out features is The Bathing House, which sits right next to the sea on the rocks near Howick.
From Sugar Sands beach, you can watch the waves sweep into the shore, with The Bathing House peeping out across the dunes and rocks. This is a perfect place to swim, build sand castles or if you are very lucky, to sit and watch the dolphins go by.
