It's one of my favourite summertime treats to go and see the puffins on Northumberland's Farne Islands. I never tire of watching these colouful little birds going about their daily business of fishing and flying back to their burrows with beaks full of sand eels. They have to work so hard to find and catch their food, and once back to the islands, they have to avoid being "mugged" by gulls who try to steal their catches.
So it's lovely to see them relaxing in the sunshine like this!
