After a spring time storm, the sea remained wild and restless, buffeting the coast with fierce foaming breakers. I caputured this scene on Bamburgh beach, being very aware of the energy of the crashing waves. The castle behind seems solid and unchanging behind the spray filled air and tempestuous tide.
