Early morning on Bamburgh Beach is a magical, almost mystical time.
The profile of the castle solidifies in the early light, while sea, sky and beach are in a constant state of flux, changing colour moment by moment. The delicate, ethereal wash of pinks, yellows and soft blues of the dawn sky are reflected across the wet surface of the beach. It seems a time when anything is possible, and any colour combination likely.
