Stag in The Mist Print 0038
This Red Deer stag is standing in a very wet and atmospheric Glen Creran, Argyll in The West Highlands of Scotland. Hidden by the roiling mist is Beinn Sgulaird a solitary "Munro", which rises steeply above upper Loch Creran.
After graduation my husband and I worked for three years at Appin Pottery, and experienced this magnificent landscape every day. We always enjoyed glimpses of the red deer when they visited our remote home and workplace, until the day they ate our entire crop of cabbages in the garden.
The pottery has since relocated, but the property remains a much loved home to friends of ours.
Like all of my standard prints, this is printed with a white border, on a heavy duty matt archival quality paper, using pigment based professional colours, to produce a fine quality print that will give decades of pleasure. Title and artist's signature on the lower edge of the border. Shipped rolled, without mount, ready to frame.
