This set of three small paintings have been created using a limited palette of warm autumnal colours and are more abstract than many of my works. They are perfect "decorator's" items.
I love a misty autumnal wood, when the boundary between the mundane and the fantastical seems as thin and wavering as the mist. The dried leaves gently whisper of childhood fairy stories and spooky tales. Time for the imagination to take flight.
Each painting was painted onto textured heavy weight paper, using Artist's professional acrylic paints.
The group of three are ready to hang, each individually framed in a bespoke solid oak frame which is 26 cm square. The painted area is 12 cm square.
These three can be hung horizontally as a triptych, or vertically, or singly in any combination.
