Low Newton with Dunstanburgh Castle

 The walk down to Low Newton from the car park is always spectacular. The  sight of the cluster of cottages, the sweep of the bay, the glistening sea, the rocky headland and Dunstanburgh Castle on the horizon are enough to take your breath away. 

In this painting I realise that I have captured a wistful, nostalgic mood, which really suits this timeless and beautiful place.
