Morning Rock Pool- Bamburgh
Walking through the early light, where sea, sky and sand meet is one of life's great pleasures. And nowhere is more perfect than Bamburgh Beach, as the sun rises from the North Sea. It is always an uplifting, almost magical experience.
In this painting, the morning mist is just beginning to lift and the colours are still soft and muted. The clouds are reflected in pools in the seaweed covered rocks.
This painting was created using Artist's acrylic paints on a canvasboard. It has been given two layers of matt UVA protective varnish, to help guard the surface against light and mechanical damage in years to come.
The painted image is 30 by 40 cm. It is ready to hang and framed in a bespoke "double" frame, making the the outer dimensions of the framed work 45 by 55.5 cm.
